A multi-institutional team of researchers that includes Professor Yingyan (Celine) Lin received $45 million from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) to develop a surgically implantable device for cancer treatment that could cut US cancer deaths in half. With the team, Celine will develop a robust platform that is energy-efficient enough to last for months. This objective aligns closely with CoCoSys Project 3131.006, led by Celine, titled “Full-stack Optimization and Software Frameworks for Cognitive Systems.”
